Tennis in Cape Town is absolutely fantastic and it is easily one of the best tennis communities worldwide. There are plenty of clubs, pros, tournaments and socials so you can find lots of people with whom to play tennis. Whether you want ocean or mountain views, doubles or singles, social or league, the Cape Town tennis scene has something for everyone.

Tennis Clubs and Courts in Cape Town (Top Choices)

All of these clubs have a great mix of locals, with solid levels of doubles play. They are all very friendly and welcoming and you should feel free to try out any of their socials. Gardens Lawn tends to have a younger (30s-40s) crowd, while Green Point and Clifton skew a bit older.
