The Western and Southern Open, Cincinnati Masters, held every August at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, is part of the ATP 1000, US Open Series and WTA Premier series. The Cincinnati Masters, the only ATP tennis tournament held in the Midwest, was played for the first time in 1899 and is the USA’s oldest professional tennis tournament played in its original city, Cincinnati, Ohio. This hard court tournament is two weeks before US Open in NYC and usually the the last stop of the best ATP and WTA pros before the final Grand Slam of the calendar year. The players love it because of the intimate feel, the die hard tennis fans and the fast courts.
The Western and Southern Open Cincinnati Masters 1000 event offers a ton of fun for the whole family and is accompanied by a number of special events such as Kids Day, High School Day, USTA Day, Open on the Square, Volunteer Service Awards and Food and Wine Classic’s Somm Slam, during which you can test your wine knowledge and compete against nine master sommeliers!

Western & Southern Open Schedule and Tickets
Tickets are available for individual sessions throughout the Western & Southern Open. The first and last days of the event (Saturday, Aug. 12, and Sunday, Aug. 20) have just one session, while the other seven days each have two sessions, Day and Night. A Single Session ticket includes an assigned seat on Center Court as well as access on a first come, first served basis to all other match and practice courts.

The Lindner Family Tennis Center is a 40 minute drive from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).
